It's been half of a year with our Tily Girl
and she'll still the sweetest thing of all!
Matilda is:
... a singer! She has discovered her voice and has started singing lovely squeal-y melodies to me each day. Her sweet little voice and cheery giggles are the happiest sounds to my ears.
... loving all sorts of food. She is very interested in anything we are eating and wants to partake, too! Her sisters frequently want to share their food with her, and were just waiting for those teeth to pop through so she can try even more things.
... still such a calm, good-natured baby. Almost everyone she meets comments on her sweet demeanor and unfailing patience. She is truly a blessing to this momma. She's a unicorn baby. :)
... crawling. Yes, c r a w l i n g... She's proficient in pulling with her arms to get where she wants, and just started getting up on her knees and doing this half worm-flop - her break dancing future is very bright. ha ha She also does this impressive cross-legged plank where she lifts up on just one foot and holds her body in the air. She's so strong! But she hasn't quite figured out how to keep her balance long enough to sit up on her own yet... it seems a little backwards to try to crawl before you can sit. But here she is, doing exactly that.
... my little smoocher. She has started giving me slobbery kisses and grabs my face to pull it to hers. She can be so silly and I love that she is getting more and more playful. She seems happy and entertained by just about everyone and everything, and her cheerful little spirit is just what this world needs more of.
