Little Miss Afton is five. months. old.
I can hardly believe it.
She is changing every day, and she just keeps growing and developing and learning.
Afton is:
... a chatterbox! She has started talking a lot. A lot! She coos, and squeals, and giggles, then squeals some more. They're the sweetest sounds I've ever heard.
... loving singing with Uncle Tanner! He'll sit and hold her at the piano and play different things, and she'll sing and sing and gets mad when he stops. I love it.
... rolling over. She rolls from her back to her tummy... and then gets frustrated and stuck and spins herself in a circle trying to get back over. Its so funny. And I'm in big trouble. I'm so not ready for a mobile baby.
... has found her feet. She grabs her toes and pulls them to her mouth, and she grabs her feet and rolls from side to side.
... our little animal lover. She loves watching our chickens and dogs. Buddy and Red will sniff her and get right in Afton's face and then lick her all over and she just smiles. I have visions of her running around the backyard with them... which will happen before I know it, I'm sure.
... a knuckle sucker. Her knuckles. My knuckles. Your knuckles. She loves to put them in her mouth. And her dad hates it. Ha ha.
... a kisser. She loves giving kisses! She attacks your face, then sucks on your cheeks, like so:
This made for one happy Grandma.
It was hysterical!
[And don't mind the uncles in the background... They were playing a game in the other room.]
We love this girl so much.
