It's not that interesting things haven't been happening, because they have:
We celebrated both my birthday and Branson's birthday in the past month.
Chad moved in with us for the summer.
Branson successfully finished his first semester back in school
- finishing with good grades and all.
We found a gigantic-ly disgusting rats nest in our current bathroom remodel.
[more to come on that when my vocabulary
decides to grace me with it's presence again.]

We transplanted about a million strawberry plants in our garden,
and also helped till and sow the rest of the garden.
Branson was on staff at Wood Badge for a week, and loved every minute.
I have been making homemade bread every week
I have been making homemade bread every week
- there is nothing better.
I met Jimmer's brother, TJ.
Yes, it did raise my coolness factor
and street cred significantly.
and street cred significantly.
There have been weekly ping-pong tournaments between the Larson and Ashcraft brothers, the most recent being a draw in a doubles tournament between Brans, Chad, Bryson and Tanner.
[What you might not know, is that Tanner has been
the reigning ping-pong champ for the past year or so.
He's been unbeatable, until last week.
Chad finally beat him - by one point.]

I cannot tell you how much I love that my brothers and my brothers-in-law are friends and have such a great time with each other. I love being one big family, as opposed to two families trying to live in one world.
But,
my passion for writing has just taken a little break. I'm sure it will come back from vacation soon - but my mind has been so busy with work, and family, and church responsibilities, that it didn't really pay attention to the notice my writing skills gave that it would be taking a sabbatical.
So, my apologies for the few and far between posts.
Please forgive my lack of words.

Dearest Shanna.
I would love to have your favorite bread recipes. Would you email me some? :) I've been wanting to get into the homemade bread scene for a while, but all the different recipes out there intimidate me. PAH!
It's nice to hear from you. You have been quite busy, haven't you? Love your guts!
Shanna,
I'm so glad I found your blog. I love the way you write, and I hope your writers blog goes away soon!
