earth day

last night, brans walked in from outside and announced to me that it was summer.

"what?"
"it's summer."
"actually, it's spring. middle of april. spring."
"nope. it was so warm today and
just now when i walked outside, it smelled like summer."
"you've got to be kidding me."
"nope. its summer."

here's the problem:

it's not summer.

it snowed 3 inches at our house last week.summer?
no.
it's barely spring.

but according to weather.com, only a few more days of warm...

and then rain.

lots of rain....the rains came down and the floods came up...

haven't we had enough precipitation?
last i heard utah was over 100% on precip levels.
i hope there aren't any flo-ods.

i just want time to enjoy this:beautiful cherry blossoms.
there are lots by our house.

and i'm dreaming of the day when my yard contains several of them. my, how i love cherry blossoms. they are just lovely. they shout spring, don't you think? and we need a little spring around here.

rebirth.
regrowth.

but how am i supposed to do my spring cleaning if there is no spring?
